Terms of Service
These terms govern access to Exentra’s hotspot billing, MikroTik management and operator-support services.
1. The Exentra service
Exentra provides software that helps hotspot operators configure supported routers, publish internet packages, issue vouchers, record customers and payments, and monitor their operation. Features may differ by workspace type, router, payment provider and release stage.
Early-access, beta and test features may change and should not be relied upon as a substitute for the operator’s own operational, accounting or network backups.
2. Operator accounts
The operator must provide accurate information, keep authorised email accounts secure, assign staff the lowest suitable role, and notify Exentra promptly of suspected compromise. Actions completed through an authenticated account are treated as authorised unless Exentra has been notified and had reasonable time to respond.
One person must remain the accountable owner. Ownership changes become effective only after the designated recipient accepts the secure invitation or completes an audited support-recovery process.
3. Customer payments and Exentra fees
With BYOK or manual transfer, the operator—not Exentra—is the merchant receiving the customer’s package payment. Gateway credentials belong to the operator and customer funds settle according to that operator’s provider agreement or bank account.
Exentra platform fees are currently waived during early access, so no platform fee is deducted and no wallet funding is required for a customer sale. Gateway, bank, SMS, tax and connectivity charges remain separate unless a written offer states otherwise.
Exentra may introduce or change platform fees after giving operators advance notice through the service or their registered contact address. The applicable rate and effective date will be shown before the change applies.
4. Operator responsibilities
- Comply with applicable consumer, communications, tax, privacy and payment rules.
- Publish accurate package price, duration, data, speed and device allowances.
- Confirm manual transfers only after funds are actually received.
- Obtain authority before configuring a router, location or customer network.
- Provide customer support and handle customer-payment disputes unless Exentra expressly agrees otherwise.
- Do not use Exentra for unlawful access, fraud, abuse, surveillance or infringement.
Exentra owns its software, branding and documentation. Operators retain their business data and grant Exentra the limited right to process it to provide, secure and support the service.
5. Availability and liability
Exentra will use reasonable care to operate the service but does not promise uninterrupted availability. Internet providers, router hardware, DNS, cloud infrastructure, email and payment gateways are independent systems that may fail outside Exentra’s control.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Exentra’s aggregate contractual liability is limited to fees actually paid to Exentra by the affected operator during the three months preceding the event, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.
6. Suspension, termination and changes
Exentra may suspend access to protect users, investigate fraud, comply with law, prevent platform harm or address unpaid platform fees. Where practical, Exentra will explain the reason and provide a path to remedy.
Operators may request account closure and data export subject to identity checks, lawful retention, open disputes and outstanding obligations. Material changes to these terms will be announced through the service or registered contact address.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing the remedies available under applicable law.
