Questions, answered plainly

Understand the platform before you connect your router.

Product, pricing, payments, setup and operations—without hiding important conditions in small print.

Getting started

Starting and operating with Exentra.

No. Exentra turns setup into a guided sequence. You still need permission to access the MikroTik Terminal and should understand which port provides internet, but the platform explains and verifies each stage.

The current automated onboarding path targets MikroTik devices running RouterOS 7 with API and WireGuard support. Compatibility also depends on available resources and the network design required at the location.

The onboarding step establishes Exentra-owned management access without intentionally replacing your LAN, DHCP, bridge or Wi-Fi configuration. Later network and Hotspot stages show intended changes and verify owned objects. Always maintain a current backup before material network work.

Yes. Locations organise routers, customers and service operations. An operator can begin with one router and add more sites as the business grows.

Yes. Operators enter the intended speed and device count instead of choosing only from a short preset list. They also choose price, duration and an optional data allowance.

Yes. Operators can create batches for a selected package and choose quantity, code format and code length. Vouchers can support cash sales, agents and customer support.

Pricing and payments

Who receives money and when fees apply.

Exentra platform fees are currently waived during early access, so the active platform fee is 0%. Payment-provider charges and optional dedicated infrastructure are separate. We will notify operators before any future Exentra fee takes effect.

With Bring Your Own Key, Exentra initializes the transaction using the operator’s encrypted business credentials and the provider settles the operator. Manual transfer displays the operator’s bank details. Accelerate managed payments is a separate product still in development.

The wallet records Exentra service credit separately from customer revenue. No wallet top-up is required while the platform-fee waiver is active. Customer proceeds still go directly to the operator through BYOK or manual transfer.

Operators will receive notice before any fee takes effect. Exentra will show the rate, effective date and wallet requirement clearly so operators can prepare without interrupting already-issued customer access.

Accelerate is the planned managed-payment option for operators who do not want to supply gateway keys. It is being designed as an Accelerate-branded experience backed by an approved licensed payment provider arrangement. It is not live yet.

A refund uses the recorded payment reference and preserves the financial trail. Where applicable, Exentra reverses the proportional platform commission and marks the associated sale or access according to the configured refund policy.

Security and access

Keeping operational control clear.

Provider secret keys are encrypted before database storage. They are used on the server and are not returned to the public customer page.

The router establishes a private WireGuard management tunnel. The RouterOS API is restricted to the management network rather than opened broadly to the internet.

Authorised platform staff can use time-limited, single-use support access. The session is read-only and audited rather than sharing the operator’s normal password.

No. A new operator can begin in an instant shared workspace under exentra.app. Dedicated infrastructure and a dedicated subdomain are optional and can be prepared later through a controlled migration.
